Who's at the bench

I'm James. I take game systems apart and put them back together better, from Game Boys to the newest consoles. Every job gets done by me, at my own bench, with a microscope and a steady hand.

Most of my work is repairs and Switch modchip installs, and I set up Android and Linux handhelds too. If it plays games and it's acting up, send me a message.

Shipping, insurance & liability

Shipping: Customer pays shipping both ways. Return shipping is added to your final quote.
Packaging: Pack your system well. ShaggyMods is not responsible for damage that happens in transit to us. We recommend insuring your package.
Insurance: All return shipments are sent insured and with tracking.
Inspection: Every system is checked and photographed when it arrives. If it arrives damaged or with problems you didn't mention, we'll contact you before doing any work.
Pre-existing issues: Older systems can have hidden problems. We're not responsible for faults unrelated to the repair you requested, or for parts that fail due to age.
Your data: Back up anything you care about. We're not responsible for lost save files, accounts or data.
Mods: Modifications may void any manufacturer warranty and can affect online access. You accept these risks when you request a mod.
Payment: Payment is due before return shipping or pickup.
Unclaimed items: Systems not paid for or picked up within 60 days of completion may be sold to cover costs.
Repair guarantee: Our work is guaranteed for 30 days. If the same issue comes back, we'll fix it free.
